Performance Intensive is an eight-day pilot program taking place in Philadelphia from January 5 to January 12, 2020. Artists working with performance in the context of visual art, sound, dance and/or theater assemble for generative conversation through a structured set of activities that include workshops, performances, lectures and individual and collaborative praxis.
The Performance Intensive includes performances, lectures and workshops by Visiting Artists Jibz Cameron, taisha paggett and Wilmer Wilson IV, Visiting Scholar Tavia Nyong’o and is co-facilitated by Sharon Hayes and Brooke O’Harra.
